        • Best Buy Q3 sales fell 11% to $10.59 billion and net income declined to $277 million or $1.22 a share from $499 million or $2 a share a year ago.
          • Abercrombie Q3 sales declined 3% to $880 million and swung to a net loss of $2.2 million or 4 cents a share from $47 million or 77 cents a year ago.
            • Dollar Tree Q3 sales rose 8.1% to $6.9 billion and net income rose 23% to $267 million or $1.20 a share from $216 million or 96 cents a year ago.
              • Dick's Sporting Q3 sales rose 7.7% to $3 billion and net income dropped 28% to $228 million or $2.45 a share from $317 million or $2.78 a year ago.
                • Medtronic fiscal Q2 revenue fell 3.3% to $7.6 billion and net income plunged to $427 million from $1.3 billion or 32 cents from 97 cents a year ago.
