In selecting securities for the portfolio, the research team focuses on companies exhibiting characteristics such as above average earnings growth and attractive relative valuation.
The team also looks at the quality of the securities and whether the issuer has any proprietary advantages.
Then the manager constructs a portfolio of stocks from a list of companies favored by the research team and allocates capital based on its conviction level.
The fund may invest up to 50% of its net assets in foreign securities, including American Depositary Receipts, European Depositary Receipts and Global Depositary Receipts.
Also, the fund may invest up to 10% of its net assets in the securities of companies located in countries considered to have emerging market economies.
