Mr. Hirayama is the lead portfolio manager on WHV’s International and Global Equity team and one of the four lead managers on the WHV Small Cap Equity team. In 2008, Mr. Hirayama, along with WHV, founded Hirayama Investments, LLC, an affiliated investment adviser to manage the firm’s international and global equity portfolios.

Prior to joining WHV in 1990, he worked for BAIMCO and Associated Capital investors in portfolio management and security analyst positions. He received his bachelor’s degree and MBA from University of California, Berkeley.
