Oliver Pursche is a senior financial services professional with over 20 years of investment management experience. Oliver is the founder of EsterV, LLC, an investment consultancy firm. EsterV provides conflict-free, institutional-quality investment consulting services to family offices, private clients and investment advisors.

Previously, Oliver served as Chief Executive Officer of Bruderman Brothers and its affiliate Bruderman Asset Management, overseeing the day-to-day investment management, private equity and investment banking operations of the firm.

Oliver Pursche has over 20 years of investment management, capital markets and corporate leadership experience working for some of the most venerable public and private financial institutions in the world, including PainWebber (now UBS), Neuberger Berman, and Trust Company of America.

As President of GGFS and CEO of Bruderman Brothers, Oliver was integral in the successful merger of the two entities, ensuring that both firm’s eco-system and culture combined in an efficient manner. His successful work resulted in Wealth Management Magazine naming him a “Finalist” of the Family Office Initiative in 2017.

As an investment management professional, Oliver has long been regarded as a thought-leader. His opinions and views on investing and world affairs are frequently requested by CNBC, Bloomberg TV and Radio, Kiplinger’s and Forbes Magazines as well as many other national and world wide news outlets such as Reuters, The Street, and Dow Jones.

In 2009, Oliver led the launch of the GMG Defensive Beta Fund, one of the first multi-alternative mutual funds available (in 2012 the fund ranked #1 in its Morningstar category). In June 2017, Oliver partnered with FTSE Russell (aka The London Stock Exchange) to help develop and oversee a new series of separately managed accounts with FTSE Russell, bringing another set of innovative solutions to the market place.

In his role as an advisor, Oliver has been named “amongst the best of the best” by Barron’s Magazine six years in a row as part of their “Top Independent Advisor” annual ranking.
