Kevin Walenta is a portfolio manager in the Equity division at Fidelity Investments. In this role, Mr. Walenta manages Fidelity® Select Environment and Alternative Energy Portfolio, as well as Fidelity and Fidelity Advisor® Mid Cap Value Funds, and Fidelity® Mid Cap Value K6 Fund.

Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Mr. Walenta was an equity research analyst covering the utilities, industrial, and energy sectors. In this capacity, he was responsible for analyzing, valuing, and recommending equity securities.

Before joining Fidelity in 2007, Mr. Walenta was an equity research associate at Driehaus Capital Management. He has been in the financial industry since 2004.

Mr. Walenta earned his bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his master of business administration degree from Duke University. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
