Jim Golan is a Portfolio Manager on the Large Cap Growth team and has been a member since 2005. In addition to his role as a Portfolio Manager, Jim is also a Research Analyst covering U.S. large cap Technology and Resources, with a focus on Energy and Materials stocks.

From 2000 to 2007, Jim served as a Research Analyst focusing on Financial, Technology, Industrial and Resource companies. He joined William Blair in 2000.

Previously, Jim worked at Citigroup Global Asset Management where he was a Global Research team Leader for the Telecom sector and a key member of the team that devised valuation metrics for standardizing the analysis of domestic and international companies.

Jim began his career at Kemper Financial as a Research Analyst covering Telecom, Technology, Energy and Industrial companies. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Chicago. 

Jim received his B.A. fom DePauw University and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
