Don Wordell is managing director at Ceredex Value Advisors, an investment management affiliate of Virtus Investment Partners. He serves as portfolio manager of the Virtus Ceredex Mid-Cap Value Equity Fund.

In 1996, Mr. Wordell joined Trusco Capital Management, Ceredex Value Advisors’ predecessor firm, as a research analyst covering value equity strategies. In 2001, he assumed a portfolio manager role for the Mid-Cap Value strategy.

Mr. Wordell has been quoted and featured in a number of national publications, including Dow Jones and MarketWatch, and has been a featured guest on CNBC and Bloomberg TV.

Mr. Wordell is a graduate of the University of Central Florida where he earned a B.S. and an M.B.A. in finance. He received the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation in 2004. Mr. Wordell has worked in the investment management industry since 1996.
