Dave is a Senior Managing Director of State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) and the Adviser and a Portfolio Manager and Chief Investment Officer of the Fundamental U.S. Equity Group.

He is portfolio manager for the SSGA Premier Growth Equity strategy and co-manager of the concentrated SSGA U.S. Equity Select strategy.  In addition, he has shared portfolio management responsibility for SSGA’s U.S. Equity strategy, a diversified, large cap, core strategy comprising two underlying portfolios, one of which is U.S. Equity Select.

Dave joined SSGA through its acquisition of GE Asset Management (GEAM) in July 2016. He joined GEAM in 1982 as an equity analyst on the U.S. Equity team.  He has held a variety of positions in US Equities including industry analyst, generalist, portfolio manager and CIO of U.S. Equities.

Dave has a BS in Finance from Indiana University.  He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1985.
