Charles Ober was the President and Manager of the New Era Fund and natural resource portfolios since 1997. He has 35 years of experience as an analyst covering energy and 20 other different industries.

Previously, he was also an Equity Analyst in the Investment Management Division at JPMorgan Chase.

Ober has earned a B.A. degree in Urban Studies from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Columbia Business School.
