Caglar is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager/Analyst on TimesSquare’s International Small Cap team which covers Developed, Emerging, and Frontier markets.

Prior to joining TimesSquare in 2016, Caglar was a Portfolio Manager, Chief Investment Officer, and Partner at Caravel Management, LLC where he focused on Emerging and Frontier Markets. At Caravel, Caglar managed both the long-only and long/short Emerging and Frontier Market strategies.

Prior to Caravel, he was a Senior Investment Research Analyst at Goldman Sachs Asset Management focusing on Asia Pacific ex-Japan stock investments for various strategies including Emerging Markets.

Caglar’s prior experience also includes Research Analyst roles at Clearbridge Advisors and Credit Suisse First Boston.

Caglar holds a B.S. in Economics and Finance from the Université de Paris IX Dauphine, Paris, France as well as a M.A. in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University.

He is a member of the CFA Institute and the New York Society of Security Analysts. Caglar is a past Board Member of the Emerging Markets Investors Alliance. He is fluent in Turkish and French.
