Brady has significant experience in the private equity and asset management industry. In 1994, Brady joined Warburg Pincus, one of the premier private equity and asset management firms in the world. In his five years serving as Partner and Managing Director, Warburg Pincus grew its assets significantly in the private equity and asset management businesses. Clients were from around the world including the Middle East.
In mid 1999, Credit Suisse bought 100% of Warburg Pincus Asset Management and 19.9% of Warburg Pincus Ventures. Upon the sale of Warburg Pincus Asset Management to Credit Suisse, Brady assumed the title of Managing Director, leading Credit Suisse’s Global Post Venture Capital, a new division where he grew assets to $650 million in eighteen months from investors in Asia, Europe and the U.S.
Following his work with Credit Suisse, Brady founded Akros Capital LLC in 2004, where he was Portfolio Manager for the Quaker Akros Absolute Return Fund. The Fund was the quickest equity oriented mutual fund to recover from the 2008-2009 drawdown, ranking first in its category in 2008 by Kiplinger Personal Finance Magazine as it had generated positive alpha in 92% of rolling three-year periods since its inception.
In 2012, Brady was instrumental in co-founding MarketGrader.Capital, a registered investment advisor that is a subsidiary of MarketGrader.com, a leading global equity research company. Clients include some of the leading financial institutions in the world.
