Principal Diversified International Fund

The fund seeks capital appreciation in the long term by investing in companies across any size outside the United States.

The investment process starts with a list of companies in the benchmark index and the research team utilizes quantitative techniques and fundamental analysis to identify investment opportunities.

Next, the research team focuses on securities of foreign companies.

Then the manager constructs a portfolio of stocks from a list of companies favored by the research team and allocates capital based on its conviction level.

The fund has no limitation on the percentage of its net assets that are invested in any one country or denominated in any one currency.

Also, the fund typically invests in foreign securities of at least 20 countries.

The fund favors securities of issuers of developed areas such as Japan, Western Europe, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

However, the fund also invests in emerging market securities.

The fund invests in securities across all market capitalizations and investment style (growth or value).
