Lord Abbett Focused Growth Fund

The fund seeks capital appreciation by investing in companies across any size outside the United States.

The investment process starts with a list of companies in the benchmark index and the research team utilizes quantitative techniques and fundamental analysis to identify investment opportunities.

Next, the research team invests in securities of companies that demonstrate above-average growth potential over the long term.

Also, the research team integrates environmental, social and governance factors as part of its process.

Then the manager constructs a portfolio of stocks from a list of companies favored by the research team and allocates capital based on its conviction level.

The fund may invest up to 10% of its net assets in securities of foreign companies, including emerging market companies, American Depositary Receipts, and other similar depositary receipts.

In addition to ADRs, the fund generally defines foreign companies as those whose securities are traded primarily on non-U.S. securities exchanges.

The fund is non-diversified, and may invest a greater portion of its assets in the securities of a single issuer or in the securities of fewer issuers than a diversified mutual fund.
