Voya MidCap Opportunities Fund

The fund seeks capital appreciation in the long term by investing in mid-size companies in the United States.

The sub-adviser’s investment process starts with a list of companies in the benchmark index and the research team utilizes quantitative techniques and fundamental analysis to identify investment opportunities.

Next, the research team invests in companies that have above average prospects for growth.

The team favors companies that exhibit superior business momentum and relative price strength, and which have a perceived value not reflected in their current valuations.

Then the manager constructs a portfolio of stocks from a list of companies favored by the research team and allocates capital based on its conviction level.

The fund may also invest in derivative instruments including futures or index futures that have a similar profile to the benchmark of the fund.

Also, the fund may invest in real estate-related securities, including real estate investment trusts.

The fund may invest in other investment companies, including exchange-traded funds.

The fund may lend portfolio securities on a short-term or long-term basis, up to 331⁄3% of its net assets.
