Next, the research team invests significantly in the component securities and other instruments of its Underlying Index and in investments that have economic characteristics that are substantially identical to the component securities of the Underlying Index.

The Underlying Index is composed of large- and mid-capitalization equities from emerging market countries while mitigating exposure to fluctuations between the value of the component currencies and the U.S. dollar.

The team utilizes a representative sampling indexing strategy that involves investing in a representative sample of securities or other instruments comprising an applicable underlying index.

Also, the team evaluates companies based on factors such as market capitalization and industry weightings.
