IT stocks rebounded from sharp losses in the previous session after the U.S. Federal Reserve lowered rates by 50 basis points. NTPC filed to list is green energy unit, NTPC Green Energy, and raise as much as ?10,000 crore. Nazara Technologies' board approved a preferential equity offering.

Bajaj Housing Finance rose for the second day of its trading after the company's initial public offering was oversubscribed by 64 times. Adani Enterprise and Wilmar International plan to lower their stake in the listed joint venture to meet regulatory requirements.

The central government agreed to make upcoming bond interest payments for MTNL. The SEBI cleared Spicejet's plans to raise as much as 3,000 crore through the sale of securities. JSW Energy commissions a wind power plant in Tamil Nadu.

Axis Bank was slapped with another fine by the Reserve Bank of India for its weak compliance practices. Spicejet and its aircraft lessor agreed to a deal to convert outstanding payments into equity.

Bank of Baroda completed its second bond offering in less than a month, and the bond issue was oversubscribed three times. Dixon Technologies and Hewlett Packard plan to set up a manufacturing unit in Chennai.

Adani Enterprises plans to bid for the purchase of an airport in Nairobi, Kenya. Reliance Industries' board is expected to approve the 1-to-1 bonus issue at a meeting today. The central government struggled to sell its stake in General Insurance Corporation.

The central government plans to sell about 6.8% stake in General Insurance Corporation on Thursday. Krishna Medical set September 13 as a record date for its stock split. Indian Energy Exchange reported a sharp jump in electricity unit trading volume in August.

IREDA is looking to raise additional funds through the sale of equity and debt offerings. NMDC said iron production declined in August. Vedanta announced its third interim dividend.
