American Century Value Fund

The fund seeks primarily capital appreciation and secondarily current income by investing in companies across any size in the United States.

The investment process is designed to highlight undervalued companies that are out of favor for temporary reasons and trading at a discount to their estimated intrinsic value.

As part of its process, the research team focuses on companies that offer higher returns, lower volatility and attractive yields.

Next, the team narrows the list of these companies and plans to hold them till they reflect the estimated fair value.

The fund has the flexibility to invest a portion of its net assets in securities of foreign issuers.
